Restart Your Mind – Why I Launched a Campaign About Digital Hygiene

We take good care of our bodies. We know what to eat, how to move, how to manage stress. But what about our minds? And what about our daily contact with technology — from the moment we wake up to the moment we fall asleep?
That’s exactly why I launched the Restart Your Mind campaign (in Czechia). I want to raise awareness that digital hygiene is a crucial, yet often overlooked, part of prevention. We talk a lot about physical, mental, and social health — but rarely about how our brains are coping with constant digital pressure.
Notifications, multitasking, the need to always be available, poor sleep, lack of focus, digital burnout… It’s happening every day. Quietly. And without much public discussion.
Restart Your Mind is my call for change. I want to:
• start a public conversation about digital hygiene as part of health prevention,
• provide research-based insights, inspiration, and practical tools for schools, companies, and individuals,
• support systemic change in education and healthcare.
The campaign also includes a short video that captures the core idea visually. It might just make you look at your digital habits differently. You’ll find it — along with the article What the Ministry Forgot to Warn Us About — on www.restartujhlavu.com.
I believe the future of prevention must include digital hygiene. And that now is the right time to start.
